The 7 dimensions we score every sales call on

By The Callevo Team

"They scored 74." Out of what, on what basis? A single number is only useful if you know what went into it. Every Callevo assessment breaks a call into seven dimensions, each scored independently — so you see where a candidate is strong, not just whether they passed.

The seven dimensions

  1. Opening & Rapport — Do they earn the right to keep talking in the first ten seconds?
  2. Needs Discovery — Do they ask questions that uncover the real problem, or pitch blindly?
  3. Argumentation & Value — Do they connect the product to that buyer's situation, or recite features?
  4. Objection Handling — When the pushback comes, do they stay composed and address the real concern?
  5. Closing & Next Steps — Do they actually advance the deal, or let it drift?
  6. Language & Professionalism — Is their delivery clear, confident, and credible?
  7. Structure & Control — Do they steer the conversation, or does the buyer run it?

Why break it apart?

Because sales skill isn't one thing. A rep who is warm and great at rapport but weak on discovery needs different coaching than one who asks sharp questions but crumbles on objections. An aggregate score buries that. Seven scores surface it.

You decide what matters

Not every role weights these the same. A high-velocity SDR job leans on opening and objection handling; a consultative closer role leans on discovery and next steps. In Callevo you set the weight of each dimension per role, so the overall score reflects the job you're actually hiring for — not a generic average.

The result is a report you can defend: an overall result out of 100, backed by seven concrete, comparable scores, plus a clear interview recommendation.
